Just happened upon this place after a great massage at the Aloha Massage Spa. Excellent food local clientele. We had the pineapple fried rice and fresh lobster in ginger and green onion sauce. Great service. We will be back soon
We were recommended to try this place and enjoyed the food. The restaurant seemed to be old and aged but still ok. Will be coming back
First off parking sucks but that's not the restaurants fault ! This was alot of peoples fave late night spot , they are no longer open to 2 am, most places close by 9-10 pm these days. Prob top 3 Chinese Hk / canto style restaurants on Oahu! Most come here for their lobster special. Roast duck is always solid ! And most of their deep fried items are on point!
Have been here for lunch , but not for dinner. Invited by son in law to a baby revealing party! There were11 people seated comfortably on a typical round table you see in Chinese restaurants.We were well taken care of by the all male wait & service staff. We started with Lobster, & Dungeness Crab, both prepared perfectly, followed by Coconut Shrimp, Sizzling Beef Chinese Broccoli, Minute chicken noodles Roasted Chicken w/ Shrimp chips, white rice to pour the delicious gravy's over! The whole dinner tonight was superb! Dessert was included too, almond float & red bean float. Terrific evening, she's having a baby girl !!!
An oldie but a goodie. Fook Yuen has been a staple in McCully Shopping Center for as long as I can remember, and it's still extremely busy-- a good sign. This restaurant is the perfect dinner spot for a giant family dinner. It's pretty loud and raucous inside, as everyone is having a great time with good food and belly laughs. And the bigger your group, the more you can order and try off their menu. We love the salt 'n pepper or black bean lobster, hot 'n sour soup, honey walnut shrimp, ong choy, sweet and sour pork, house friend rice, salt 'n pepper squid, and more. Even if you go during busy dinner hours, I would say they turn tables pretty fast and it would be worth the wait. The service is also very efficient and you won't be left waiting for long for much of anything. I highly recommend Fook Yoen for a casual family dinner.
Very good Chinese food here , fast service and fantastic quality. They have private party room if you are having special events.
